The Living Protocol™ and all associated marks, systems, algorithms, and creative works are proprietary to VaultSpark Studios LLC. This page defines the full scope of our intellectual property rights and the rules governing their use.

Ownership
All intellectual property comprising The Living Protocol™ — including but not limited to software source code, compiled binaries, machine learning model weights, training data, algorithms, system architectures, brand marks, trade dress, documentation, marketing copy, design systems, database schemas, API specifications, and creative works — is the exclusive property of VaultSpark Studios LLC, a limited liability company. All rights are reserved. No license is granted by access, use, or review of any portion of this product or its materials unless explicitly stated in a signed written agreement.

The software, interfaces, content, and creative works comprising The Living Protocol™ are protected by copyright law in the United States and internationally under the Berne Convention. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or creation of derivative works is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties.
Copyright protection applies to the whole and every part of The Living Protocol™, including but not limited to: screen layouts, visual design, icon sets, SVG assets, color systems, typography choices, animation choreography, onboarding flows, copy and microcopy, AI prompt templates, database schemas, API response shapes, and this documentation.
The original authorship date for the core platform is 2024. All session-level work is continuously authored and the copyright registration date reflects the date of each work's creation, not the date of this notice.
Trademark Portfolio
The following marks are trademarks or common law trademarks of VaultSpark Studios LLC. The ™ symbol denotes a mark for which trademark rights are claimed. Marks are protected under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq.) and applicable common law trademark rights. Registration applications may be pending with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The absence of a mark from this list does not constitute a waiver of trademark rights. VaultSpark Studios LLC reserves all rights in any mark used in connection with its products and services, whether or not listed here.
Trademark Usage Rules
✓ Permitted Uses
- Accurate factual reference to The Living Protocol™ in editorial, review, or commentary contexts (nominative fair use)
- Linking to thelivingprotocol.life with proper ™ notation
- Press and media coverage using official press kit assets from our media page
- Integration partners referencing their integration with prior written approval
✗ Prohibited Uses
- Using any TLP mark in your own product, service, or company name without written license
- Modifying or abbreviating any mark (e.g., “Living Protocol” without ™, “LP” as a product shorthand)
- Using marks in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by VaultSpark Studios LLC
- Domain names, social handles, or app store listings incorporating any TLP mark
- Using marks in metatags, keywords, or programmatic advertising without written approval
Trade Secrets & Proprietary Technology
The following systems constitute trade secrets protected under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (18 U.S.C. § 1836) and applicable state trade secret law. VaultSpark Studios LLC has taken reasonable measures to maintain the secrecy of these systems through access controls, confidentiality agreements, and architectural separation of proprietary components from public interfaces.
BioCore™ Multi-Axis Scoring Engine
The specific weighting, normalization, and regression algorithms used to compute per-axis BioCore™ scores from raw biometric inputs. Includes the proprietary floor/ceiling model, half-life decay functions, and cross-axis correlation logic.
Protocol Coach™ Slow-Prefix Architecture
The layered caching architecture for LLM context construction, including the segment ordering, token-budget allocation, decay-aware synthesis, and cache-stability heuristics that ensure cost-neutral, longitudinally coherent AI coaching.
Generational Head-Start Algorithm
The mathematical model that computes years-of-biological-advantage passed to heirs based on parent protocol adherence slope, age differential, and empirical inheritance efficiency coefficients.
Living Tree™ Growth Model
The SVG generation system, tier thresholds, trunk-color escalation logic, and ambient animation curves that produce the real-time generational protocol visualization.
Protocol Decay Forecast Model
The per-axis detraining half-life and regression-to-floor model that projects performance degradation over 90/180/365-day horizons based on activity cessation.
ForgePoints™ Ledger Protocol
The append-only, cryptographically-ordered event ledger design that makes ForgePoints™ permanent and verifiable — including the proof-chain construction, HMAC attestation scheme, and vault integrity receipt generation.
Protocol DNA™ Fingerprint System
The behavioral archetype classification system, rarity percentile computation, and cosine-similarity caching model used to produce Protocol DNA™ fingerprints.
Trust Timeline™ Privacy Contract
The server-side privacy enforcement model that determines proof class visibility based on relationship tier (self, heir, witness, public), including the cryptographic content-free pledge design.
Any disclosure, reverse-engineering, misappropriation, or unauthorized use of these trade secrets is a federal crime and may result in civil liability for actual and exemplary damages plus attorney fees.
Source Code License
Proprietary — All Rights Reserved. No source code comprising The Living Protocol™ is open source. The entire codebase — including all packages, apps, infrastructure definitions, scripts, database migrations, CI/CD configurations, and prompt engineering artifacts — is proprietary to VaultSpark Studios LLC.
Access to any portion of the codebase does not convey any license to use, reproduce, modify, sublicense, or distribute that code. All source code is covered by the work-for-hire doctrine and direct authorship of VaultSpark Studios LLC personnel, and no contribution from any third party is accepted without a signed Contributor License Agreement (CLA) assigning all rights to VaultSpark Studios LLC.
Third-party open source libraries incorporated into the platform are used in compliance with their respective licenses. A complete attribution list for included open source dependencies is available upon request at legal@vaultsparkstudios.com.
Data & Content Ownership
User data. You own your personal health data. VaultSpark Studios LLC does not sell, rent, or license your personal data to third parties. Your protocol logs, biometric inputs, vault entries, and AI coaching conversations belong to you. See our Privacy Policy for full data governance details.
Platform IP. The platform itself — including the interfaces, systems, AI-generated recommendations, protocol templates, scoring models, and all non-user-authored content — remains the exclusive intellectual property of VaultSpark Studios LLC. Access to platform features under a user account does not transfer any ownership interest in the platform.
Aggregated, anonymized data. VaultSpark Studios LLC may use aggregated, fully de-identified statistical data derived from platform usage to improve models, publish research, and develop new features. No individual user can be identified from any aggregated dataset we produce or share.
Vault permanence. Legacy Vault™ entries are permanent by design — they are append-only records that cannot be deleted by any party, including VaultSpark Studios LLC. This permanence is a feature, not a limitation. The ForgePoints™ ledger operates under the same append-only guarantee. These design choices are deliberate and reflect our commitment to health heritage integrity.
AI Agent & Automated Scraping Policy
The Living Protocol™ provides structured, machine-readable content via /agents.json and /.well-known/llms.txt to facilitate AI-first discovery. Crawlers and language models are welcome to index our public marketing pages for the purpose of accurately describing or recommending The Living Protocol™ to users.
Permitted automated access: Reading public marketing pages · Parsing /agents.json and llms.txt · Crawling pages honoring robots.txt.
Prohibited automated access: Scraping authenticated dashboard endpoints · Extracting user data · Reverse-engineering API response structures for competitive analysis · Training AI models on our proprietary code, prompt engineering artifacts, or trade secret systems without a written license · Automated account creation or credential stuffing.
AI-generated descriptions of The Living Protocol™ must not misrepresent our features, pricing, or capabilities. If your model produces inaccurate representations, please report them to ai@vaultsparkstudios.com so we can update our machine-readable content.
DMCA Copyright Complaints
VaultSpark Studios LLC complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that material on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on our platform that you claim is infringing, with sufficient information for us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notification rights: If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification. VaultSpark Studios LLC will restore the material within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action.
Enforcement
VaultSpark Studios LLC actively monitors for and enforces against infringement of its intellectual property rights. We take trademark and copyright infringement seriously and will pursue all available legal remedies — including injunctive relief, actual damages, statutory damages, and attorney fee awards — against any party that infringes our rights.
We routinely monitor app stores, domain registrations, social media platforms, and AI-generated content for unauthorized use of our marks and works. We reserve the right to take action at any time without prior notice.
Nothing in our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or user agreement constitutes a waiver of any intellectual property right. Acquiescence to any infringement, whether or not explicitly called out, does not constitute a license or estoppel.
Licensing & Partnership Inquiries
VaultSpark Studios LLC does not grant licenses to our marks, code, or proprietary systems as a default. However, we do consider licensing and co-branding arrangements for qualified partners — health systems, enterprise wellness programs, research institutions, and technology integrators — on a case-by-case basis.
